Design Work

Waddah Faris was renowned for his impactful and revolutionary work in graphic design. Starting his career designing for notable publications such as the newspaper Annahar and the literary magazines Hiwar and Shi’ir, he also created captivating book covers for Ghassan Kanafani.

Later, he utilized his design skills for posters and catalogs for his galleries, Contact Gallery and Galerie Faris. Additionally, he revolutionized the design for the Baalbek International Festival catalogs in 1973 and 1974.
